Arslan Ash skips Evo France 2026
Pakistan's Arslan Ash did not play Evo France 2026, held in Nice from 9 to 11 October. The eight-time Evo champion announced it on X on 5 October:
Looks like I'll be skipping EVO France this time due to some personal commitments.
Sad to miss it, especially after the memories from last year. Good luck to everyone competing 🇫🇷❤️
Arslan won the first Evo France in 2025. In June he won Tekken 8 at Evo 2026 in Las Vegas, his eighth Evo title.
On a later livestream, reported by EventHubs, he reportedly said he is settling in Japan and wants to focus on Fatal Fury rather than travel for every Tekken event. MenaRD also skipped Evo France. Jeondding won Tekken 8 in his absence.
